Who I am

This site is run by Kyrsten Horvath, an independent software engineer. "I", "me" and "my" in this policy mean Kyrsten Horvath.

What I collect

When you use the contact form: your name, email address, project type, budget range and message. I use these only to reply to you and discuss your project.

When you visit the site: I use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, the device and browser used, and how they arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. I also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and doesn't identify individual visitors.

Server logs: the site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and request details) to run and secure the service.

How information is shared

I don't sell or rent your information. It's shared only with the services that run the site:

Resend delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
Google Analytics provides visitor statistics.
Vercel hosts the site and provides cookie-free visitor statistics.

Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.

How long I keep it

Contact form messages stay in my email for as long as they're useful for our conversation or project, and I delete them on request. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics' retention settings.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to see, correct or delete any information you've sent me, and I'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local privacy law.

To limit analytics, you can block cookies in your browser or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
